 Community Radio Station Angel Radio has been voted as one of the top three finalists in the category of 'Best Volunteer' in the Portsmouth News 'We Can Do It Awards'. The station began broadcasting in March 2002 and has recently been awarded the 5 year community licence to broadcast to Havant and the surrounding areas. The station is aimed at people over the age of 60 with music, talk and local community news. A presentation eveing was held with the host Esther Rantzen in which Angel Radios Founder Tony Smith picked the award up for the station.
